NYC Midtown Shooting: Gunman Kills 4, Including Police Officer

In a shocking incident that has sent waves across the United States, a heavily armed man opened fire inside a Midtown Manhattan office tower on Tuesday, killing four people including an NYPD officer. The gunman has been identified as Shane Tamura, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. This incident is one of the most terrifying mass shootings New York City has seen in recent years.

Security footage reveals Tamura’s calculated moves—he was seen pacing the lobby calmly before taking the elevator. The rampage lasted nearly 11 minutes before emergency units stormed the building and neutralized the suspect.

Shane Tamura, 38, was a former semi-pro football player who had previously filed legal claims related to brain injury against the NFL.
